Baltimore, Thursday Evening

It was best not to ask how Ezra had managed to shoplift the stereo. (Okay, technically it was a boombox, but anyway. Tomato, another tomato. Still played CDs, at least!) All you'd have got out of Ezra by way of an answer would've been "Easily." And it was true! All it took was sticky fingers and some world class idle misdirection and charm and boom, he was out on the street with something that didn't belong to him under his arm.

Well, right now, he was in alleyway, stuffing said stereo more firmly in bag for easier transport back to the island. If it was going to earn him treats, he better take care of it until it found its way to its new owner!
