It was Tuesday evening, and Ezra was in class.
He'd been at Purgatory in a meeting Alistair and his team right before coming here, and Lock had acted openly surprised when Ezra had told them he wouldn't be accompanying them back to Currant yet, because he had his class to go to. Guess two weeks in a row had still been plausible, but three? That was unheard of, or at least it might as well have been, for all that Lock couldn't seem to get over it.
Still, they'd told him to have fun.
And he was! Having fun, that was. Especially in partnering up with Morgan who had a wicked smile and the kind of effortless but strong grace about her that had him wondering whether she wasn't more his people than he assumed everyone else in their class was.
But fun wasn't all of it. This was rapidly becoming a source of calm for him: a place where the background din of his brain quieted down some, and all he had to focus on was making sure he wrapped the silks correctly so he wouldn't fall flat on his face. Or, as was the case for a good chunk of this class, spotting Morgan so she wouldn't fall flat on her face.
It was good.
[ooc: NFB, but open!]
