Room 210, Friday Afternoon

It'd been almost two weeks. Ezra was starting to be okay. Which was to say, he'd repressed the hell out of the fact that he'd seen ––

You know what? No. Let's just not go there. He'd been thoroughly over it once he'd stopped shaking and wanting to puke his guts out (after he'd felt like he already had). And that had been the very same day already, so. He was done with it, and had been for almost two weeks.

(The less said about said two weeks, though, the better. Unless you happened to be a fan of questionable coping methods.)

Things were just fine now. He'd just finished packing up a box of his winter stuff that he needed to send up to Currant to Ava for safekeeping, and was currently just standing by the window, looking up towards the sky. Maybe today he'd go out exploring.

Get into trouble.

"Well, I have a lot to give to bask in." Of course that sounded dirty somehow. It didn't even require any effort, under the circumstances. "It seems only right."

And certainly not with present company. Dante grinned at him, lazily advancing on him again. "I can't say I'm complaining."

"Nor should you." He reached out brush his fingers over Dante's cheek. The gesture was pretty lazy too. "Complaining gives people wrinkles."

"And I don't want to wreck my pretty face, right?" Dante said, smirking down at him.

He slid his hand idly over Ezra's side.

Then nudged him towards the bed.

"My, it feels like I'm being led somewhere," Ezra noted, mock surprised, batting his eyelashes. Yes, even as he moved towards the bed.

"I didn't come here just to give you a blowjob," Dante said, tugging off his own shirt while he was at it. He tossed it aside, nipping idly at Ezra's bottom lip while he was at it. "Though that part wasn't a letdown."

Look, he didn't want a silence of any kind to fall and allow his thoughts to come intruding back into his head.

"I didn't think you came here for anything specific," Ezra teased, his hands traveling down to the waist of Dante's pants. To undo them, unsurprisingly. "Sounds like I was wrong, darling."

"Okay, fine," Dante said, smirking. "I came here to hang out. Just making the rest of it up as I go along." He dipped his head down to nip at Ezra's neck. "You got me."

"I usually do." And see, he was being so good about not slipping up and referring to their not insignificant separation over the past six months. Easier to do now that he wasn't completely distracted. Even if he was currently pushing Dante's pants a little ways down his hips. "It's a gift."

It was in Ezra's benefit not to bring it up, too. The vast majority of those months had a lot more to do with his state of mind than Dante's.

"And we've already figured out that you've got a lot of those," Dante said, wriggling until his pants went further down his legs. "Though you might want to remind me about a couple."

Let's face it, it was generally Ezra's benefit not to bring things up. Half his life was one big diversion. It just hadn't been it this specifically from Dante, before.

That might've hurt, if he'd let it. But the thing he was hiding hurt worse.

So. Anyway.

He gave Dante a little nudge towards the bed, now. "I think I already promised you one or two."

Yeah, well.

In his own way, Dante had tried.

Before. Right now he wasn't honestly even sure what he was doing here. Ezra was too pretty and too perfect on the outside, and in recent months the inside hadn't done much else besides lash out at him.

Fuck it, though. And yolo. Or whatever. He flopped back onto the bed, stretching his arms out above his head, and looked at Ezra. Eyebrows raised.

"What's with the eyebrows?" Ezra wondered, teasing, as he climbed onto the bed, crawling right over Dante. He raised his own eyebrows, then ducked down to give the curve of the guy's neck a lick. "Like you're trying to tell me something."

The bite that followed wasn't gentle in the slightest.

Oh, right. That was what he was doing here.

Hopefully Ezra would accept a loud whimper as his answer, because that was what he was going to get.

Well, that and Dante's fingers in his hair.

Everything else required more brainpower than Dante suddenly found himself capable of.

Ezra snickered against his neck. "You are so easy, darling." So, so easy. Which just called for more biting, really. A few lighter nips down along his neck and shoulder, only for a roughed, harsher bite again. And he didn't linger with that. Not when he could move back up to where the first bite had happened.

And bite there again. Couldn't leave that kind of groudwork just sitting by itself.

And Ezra was fucking fantastic at following up on his groundwork, too. "Y'like me easy," Dante said, but it was automatic; he wasn't paying much attention at all to what was coming out of his mouth.

There was one tried and true way to switch him off - or rather, on. Ez had always known how to take advantage of it.

His arm slid around Ezra's side and he rocked his hips up against... that was a leg, probably.

It was.

"I do."

And he sucked on the spot he'd just bitten. Some added pressure on already bruised skin.

Dante made a soft, drawn-out noise, his fingers tightening in Ezra's hair. Yeah. He was definitely easy like this. But that was fine.

Ez had finally managed to shut his brain right up, and he was grateful.

And really, really hard, pressed up against Ezra's leg.

That kind of thing didn't really escape Ezra's notice. He shifted a little, licking a wet strip up Dante's neck, up to his ear, while one of his hands traveled down where it could wrap around him.

"You know, I was going to ask you to give me a good pounding," he purred, punctuating the words with a stroke, and a bite on Dante's earlobe, "but I don't know, maybe you're too far gone for that."

Dante's breath hitched, but Ezra's hand was... somewhat less distracting than his teeth. "Maybe," he sighed. "Maybe not."

His hand slid down Ezra's back, settling on his ass. "Still a fucking nice ass."

Not as terrible a slip-up as Ezra's there, at least.

Barely counted. Of course, Ezra was busy, anyway. With biting just under the line of Dante's jaw. Sucking on a pulse point.

"I know." He wasn't modest, ever. "Could use a nice fucking."

Another slow, low whimper. "Y'want that, gonna have to be less handsy for a second," Dante sighed. He squeezed, smoothing over the skin with his hands a moment later.

Whatever else was going on here, he was not going to waste a chance to appreciate how pretty Ezra was.

That was a given.

Ezra gave hima couple of lazy strokes before pulling his hand away, shifting again. He had things to get, for one. In a second, anyway.

"I think everyone here can live with less handsy for a greater good."

Of course, being the jerk that he was, he couldn't help another bite over an existing tender spot right then.

"Fuck," Dante groaned, wriggling some so he could kick his pants off his ankles. "Fuckin' foxes, I swear."

Ezra's laugh sounded a little rougher this time around. "Sorry." He wasn't even remotely sorry. "We really don't give a damn."

He still pressed a lazy sort of kiss on the spot of the bite before leaning over and reaching out to rumage through the contents of the drawer on his bedside table.
