A House, Currant, Maine, Saturday
It was a lazy Saturday in Currant.
As it followed a busy Friday around Boston, it felt earned. Although Ezra, of course, would've found it earned whether he'd had a busy day or not. He earned his lazy weekends just by virtue of existing, fabulously.
Right now, he was doing so while lounging on the couch in the small living room with a book propped up against his chest and his phone in his other hand, occasionally sending texts to Ava. Nothing serious. Or even important. Sometimes, he just liked staying connected.
Lock was... somewhere. With Bianca? Probably.
It was quiet.
[ooc: NFB, and for that guy.]

So while everyone else was waking up in the hotel, he was grabbing a portal - one that landed him not far from Ezra's place.
He walked the rest of the way, hands shoved into his pockets. At least until he reached the door, and one of 'em came out to knock.

So, Ezra had to put his book aside and actually peel himself off the couch, and pad his way to the door.
His grin once he'd opened it didn't manage to shake of the air of laziness about him. "Hello, darling."

On the inside, the house looked a lot like it did on the outside. For lack of a better word, it was homey. They even had house plants.
"I figure the penthouse with the floor-to-ceiling windows can wait."

He was kidding. It was a nice place.

He ushered Dante towards the living room. It wasn't big, but it was as cozy as everything else here. "Just don't go yelling about it in the streets, okay?"

"I know."
He slipped past Dante to flop down onto the couch, reclaiming his old spot. It was still warm from before, he wasn't giving that up.

"Easy week?"

Well, he could. He just didn't feel like it.

'Cause you could always complain, Ezra.

Ezra was going to need a little more context for this.

He didn't really know Ringo. And had found her a little odd to begin with.

"Pandas? Dating? Do I look like a good audience for either of those things?"
Mostly, he was just looking to make a vague joking point about pandas being lesser animals who got way too much attention. (Though okay, he was kind of curious about whether China had werepandas.)
