Ava and Lock had meant to come visit this weekend. Or possibly Ava or Lock, since they were still being weird around each other. Because they were idiots. But in the end, neither ended up being able to come by. Some Coterie whatever, the usual. Alistair with an errand or something.

So, Ezra was spending his Sunday the way the gods had intended him to: by sprawling on his bed. And flirting with people over texts.

It was pretty great.

Dante let out another soft chuckle.

He nipped lightly at the back of Ezra's neck. If there was something halfway affectionate about it, well, it wasn't like he expected to have to explain it.

This was just good, and he liked Ezra a lot for it. So sue him.

Ezra was the last person to demand explanation for that. He just enjoyed it with a pleased little sigh. Hey, he liked what you brought to the metaphorical table too, Dante.

He was going to have to clean himself up or something in the near future. But he was going to bask in this pleasantness for a while longer.
