A House, Currant, Maine, Friday
"Ez? You're still... here?"
Ezra had come home on Monday.
And then he'd promptly spent the week sprawling on his bed with his books and his phone and the flecks of glitter he was still finding in his hair. Which wasn't that much of a break from norm, since everyone knew he was King Lazyass, but for all that he was masking it as his usual meaningless laying about, clearly after four or five days of it, Lock was no longer fooled. As there was now a concerned-looking half-dryad standing in Ezra's doorway.
He looked up. "I do live here, you know," he pointed out. Helpfully.
And got back an eyeroll. Predictable. "You know that's not what I meant."
Ezra sighed. "It's Saturday, right? I'll go out somewhere tonight, I'm sure." There were going to be people out, on a Saturday night. He was finally starting to feel like that was something he wanted. "You can stop mother-hening me." A beat. "Also, you need to text Aves back."
Well, that got Lock moving. "You know what, I just remembered I have a thing I should be doing," he said, turning away. "Elsewhere."
"Yes, and while you're doing so, text our little pumpkin."
"Can't hear you!" Lock called back, already down the hall. "And get up before I call someone to extract you from your bed!"
Ezra sighed.
He'd get up a little later. After he finished playing this dumb game on his phone.
[ooc: NFB but can be open for phone stuff, sure.]
